Sultry Fedora Girl, Original Watercolor 8x10" Miniature Art

Because my main focus for paintings is miniature bird watercolor, some of my recent paintings are way outside of the box for me.  This week's small format art painting was inspired by my love of hats, particularly the fedora.  This red-lipped sultry vixen was quite fun to paint!   ...and I didn't forget to incorporate a feathered friend - her bird art tattoo represents a ruby-throat hummingbird.  I think this little painting would add interest to any cozy, contemporary corner of your home or office.

No Words Between Us.... an original watercolor and ink 11x14

Greetings, from the San Francisco Bay area! 

I happily created this monotone, figurative painting which will be used in a friend's poetry book to illustrate his poem called No Words Between Us.  This was an extremely fun project!  She is painted using Neutral Tint paints and micron pen.  I'm so pleased with this painting, and i hope you will enjoy it! 

It will be for sale sometime in September 2015.
