I sure miss seeing blue jays since moving to California (although we have scrub and stellar jays which are just beautiful!). This bluejay painting is a 8x6" painted on Arches watercolor board. Please take a look at the auction HERE!
The hyacinth macaw is bold, beautifully blue and very big! My rendition is an ACEO - tiny original painting, 2.5 x 3.5". He is for sale HERE and the auction starts at an affordable $17.99.
I like to sit outside on my door stoop with my camera and watch the neighborhood birds go about their day. Many times, they come to forage for insects or to rest in the ivy which clings to the side of the house and on the fence. Just last week, i noticed a hermit thrush for the first time. He is bold and brave and does not seem to be bothered by my presence. I was fortunate enough to watch him for a while. The thrush decided to land in the ivy and was observing his surroundings. Here is my rendition of the little guy as he sits in the ivy.
This original, 8x6" bird painting was created using professional quality watercolors on Arches board.
This beautiful miniature work of art is available for sale on Ebay HERE. Thank you for looking!
